After eleven years living, dancing, teaching tango, and writing in Buenos Aires, I came home to L.A. in 2014, where I'm reconstructing my life.

Milonga La Milonguita

We tried it out last night for the first time (Sunday), and it was great! Nice salon, a lot of friendly familiar faces, fully packed by midnight but lots of room to dance (tile floor).

Graciela y Blas (below) made a point to introduce us, and then asked us to return on Friday to do an exhibition.

Here's the details:

La Milonguita
Jorge Newbery 2818 esq. Cramer
Colegiales

Friday: Class at 8:30, Milonga 10 p.m.-4 a.m.
Sunday: Class at 6:30, Milonga 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tel 4771-8827

Please come to support us on Friday if you can!

And by the way, Bibi (of Los Consagrados) makes all the homemade cakes and snacks--yum yum!

Gosh I would love to be there! Blas is a real gentleman it seems. We went there twice. That floor is nice but cruel to my feet.
You know, we need to come back. I think you and Ruben would be pleased ar out progress.

Can't wait to see you and Alan out there on the floor again, Elizabeth.

Thanks so much Tina for being there last night!

Tina and Sallycat both came out to support fellow blogger me! And it was so nice to see everyone.
