After eleven years living, dancing, teaching tango, and writing in Buenos Aires, I came home to L.A. in 2014, where I'm reconstructing my life.

Clarin's Charming Tango Videos

The Buenos Aires newspaper Clarin has produced two excellent multi-media presentations--interviews, film clips (all with English or Portuguese subtitles)--about what tango means to various performers, to Argentina, to the world.

Sure the dancing shown is stage tango, but the musicians, singers and dancers are eloquent and moving, as they struggle to find words to describe their feelings. Several are asked what is their favorite tango, and violinist Ramiro Gallo replies, "the best tango is the one that is being composed in Buenos Aires at this very moment!"

Nice!
