After eleven years living, dancing, teaching tango, and writing in Buenos Aires, I came home to L.A. in 2014, where I'm reconstructing my life.

This is so neat! I saw this orquestra when I was there in July - it was my very first experience ever hearing tango music live, and I was moved to tears, standing there on that very street. What a great video, and how wonderful to see them again.

Hola chicas!
Thanks for your nice comments.
I'm real excited to walk two blocks to Homero Manzi's this Sunday to see the Sexteto Major! Those guys are my favorites, even though several have passed on and there are new, young members. I'll probably post about the concert next week.

This reminds me of a situation I witnessed when I lived in Zurich. The musicians in this case were a baroque trio, but anyway - it brought back the memory of the people (including me) wanting music so much that the police just couldn't win. I love powerful moments like that.
I loved watching this!
