After eleven years living, dancing, teaching tango, and writing in Buenos Aires, I came home to L.A. in 2014, where I'm reconstructing my life.

I could dance with you 'til the tango come home. On second thought, I'd rather dance with the tango 'til you came home.

Which movie was this quote from?

Thank you Cherie, that's such a great post! Informative and interesting. Would you perhaps do a post where you tell us the style of tango that's danced in Buenos Aires? I'd love to know. Thank you.

Hi Anon,

Thanks for your comment.
Here in BsAs most people dance "milonguero style" tango, which I've written a lot about on tangocherie.

You can also see videos of Ruben and my dancing in milongas if you search "video" at the bottom of the page in the "Search this Blog" box.

But for the time being, milonguero style means close embrace, very musical, improvised, sensual, with a lot of connection between the couple.

Besitos!
